This James G. was aged 50 (born 1830) which does not jibe withthe James Glass Pyeatt born in 1824. Also, the places of birth differfrom OH to IN. Twenty years earlier James G and Rachel (Miller) Pyattwere in Crawford Co, Missouri. He was aged 33 (born 1827) which also doesnot match the 1824 birth date of James Glass Pyeatt. Previously, in 1850,J and R Pyatt were in Crawford Co MO. The family is not found in the 1870census, but that does not necessarily mean that they were not in Missouriat that time. Bad handwriting might be the fault and the census should berechecked. Of note, descendants of Benjamin Piatt, a brother of JamesGlass Pyeatt lived in Dent Co, MO.
