Abraham was an abolutionist because the rebels raided his home, he sold
his farm and stock. He took his son Henry and went to Iowa, leaving his
wife Pollyon a farm near Liverpool, WV. After 50 years in Iowa he
returned to his oldhome place and married a young woman.

He moved to Bell County, Texas with his mother & step-father about 1876. Went to Old Mexico & died there of lung trouble. His widow was living in San Antonio.
