From an article in May 28, 1921 issue of the Fayetteville Daily Democrat.
Jasper Pyeatt, a high school boy living north of Pairie Grove, finds raising colts a very interesting game. He has a light mare and two colts sired by a pure bred saddle horse. Give the boys a chance and they will make the farm a pleasant place to live.
Also in the Willam Jaggers household in 1910 was Sam Duff, a nineteen year old boarder, who was listed as a farm laborer who was working out.
